With it’s quick installation, innovative design and minimal pre-construction requirements, this Three-Passenger Residential Elevator offers everything you need in a residential elevator.

Self-Supporting Home Elevators

This is the largest of the three vacuum elevators, capable of carrying three people or two people if one is in a wheelchair. Even our largest lift takes up less space in your home than other traditional elevators. Like all other vacuum elevators, the PVE52 does not need a separate space for machinery or additional room above and below the lift for a pit. Since the unit has a self-supporting structure, you will not have to add a frame to your home before installing it. This means you can fit this lift anywhere in your home!

ECO-Friendly Residential Elevator

Don’t forget that this vacuum elevator model won’t be costly in your electric bills. As environmentally-friendly home elevators, the only electrical required to power it is 220V, 40 Amp, single phase service. This wheelchair-accessible residential elevator maintains all of the safety and technology features that the other PVE models have as well. Should a power outage occur, the vacuum lift safely descends to the lowest level and the mechanical door lock enables the passenger to exit, preventing passengers from getting stuck. The cabin is equipped with an LED light as well as a cabin fan that circulates the ambient air throughout the elevator car.

Wheelchair Accessible Home Elevators

The PVE52 has an external cylinder diameter of 52 11/16 inches. Inside the unit measures a roomy 43 1/2 inches in diameter. This provides enough space for a person in a standard sized wheelchair with an attendant or for up to three adults to stand in comfort. As a fully certified residential elevator, please note that the PVE52 home elevator is not ADA compliant and is not permitted for commercial applications. Due to the space-saving design of this elevator, not all wheelchairs may fit inside the cabin. It is recommended to contact a PVE Authorized Distributor to ride and test a PVE52 locally to confirm your wheelchair sizes feasibility. The cabin height is 6′ 7″, which is tall enough for provide headroom for most people. With same side or opposite side door offerings, the largest of the residential vacuum elevators can be configured to accommodate almost any elevator installation.

This compact vacuum elevator system is the choice of many homeowners because of its small size, but that’s not its only advantage. PVE30 home elevators offer several benefits for homeowners who use a wheelchair to get around or have other mobility issues. There’s the ease of maintaining this compact pneumatic elevator: Because vacuum elevators use air pressure to operate, thus eliminating the need for shafts or machine rooms, they also have fewer moving parts — which means less maintenance.

What Are the Maintenance Requirements For the PVE52 Home Elevators?

When shopping for small elevators for homes, cost and installation are two of the main considerations. The PVE30 in home elevator installation is much quicker and less impactful than traditional elevators. To install elevator in house takes 1-3 days, and the impact on your home is minimal. Any maintenance required for these home elevators is always expedient and minimally invasive to your daily schedule. A manufacturer’s study shows that pneumatic elevators need maintenance once every 5 years, or about 15,000 lifts, to replace the main seal.
